No One is Forgotten provided me a unique opportunity to pattern and construct garments without the pressure of them looking perfect. Set in an indistinct POW cell, the sack dresses worn by Lali and Beng are meant to look poorly constructed, rushed garments made from spare materials made with no thought to the shape or comfort of the women who would wear them. I sought to create garments that could fray at unfinished seams while maintaining the structural integrity necessary to withstand weeks of rehearsals and shows.
